Halloween Costume 2010

I just love October. I have many great memories associated with this month...apple cider, hay rides, my daughter's birthdate, and of course you can't forget Halloween.

In fact, I can't remember having a bad time on Halloween. When we were younger my mom always had a small Halloween party at our house. When I moved to Columbus my friends and I would travel down to Ohio University for one of the biggest college campus Halloween celebrations. I now live on Maui where one of the best destination Halloween celebrations is held on Front Street in Lahaina town.

I always have a good time looking for costumes online and there are just so many to choose from. Some are very expensive, some corny, and some pure genius. This year I found a lot of affordable & funny costumes at Prank Place.

I met a man in an airport from there we took a long bus ride to cruise line job training. We became friends. He told me of this quote. This man became my husband, Jay. He lives by this quote and it helps me through many days.

The past is truly history. I have done things in my life I am not proud of. I have been through things in my life that no longer matter. I can not change those things, they are history.

I am so thankful to even have a future to look forward to. Some days I find myself worrying about the outcomes of things that haven't even happened yet and I must remind myself that the future is an ever so exciting mystery.

Making it to the next day is an absolute gift. You just might get lucky enough to take a plane to an airport, meet a man, take a bus ride, and fall in love.
